Interesting Information about the Humane Society

 With a 2010 budget of $126 million, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), which isn’t affiliated with any local humane societies or animal shelters, contributed less than one percent of its budget to local organizations.  States like Maine, Vermont, West Virginia, Arkansas, North Dakota, Wyoming and Alaska received no support from the national organization.  Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Virginia received about two percent from the national organization while Ohio, Missouri and Florida received around three percent.  The largest recipient of HSUS fun

NACA Conference

Had a great time this year again at the NACA conference.  It was nice to see some familiar faces and meet new representatives from the different schools.  Since the conference we have had a fantastic response of universities interested in having lectures.  We still have room for booking for Earth Week events but hurry that week is filling fast! 

 

 

 

 

On the road again

Looking forward to speaking at New Universities this fall as well as revisiting our existing clientele. April I will be speaking at the MIT science sometime in April,I will also be debating a paleontologist,should be be fun.

New Building Fund

We're expanding! In order to make room for more animals as we continue to grow as one of New England's premier no-kill exotic animal rescue, we're adding an addition to our expanding zoo! All proceeds from now until March, 2011 will go toward the new structure and enclosures.
